OUR STORY — Intention Based Creations

Intention Based Creations began quietly — during early mornings, late nights, and in the small spaces where creativity and healing intersect. What started as a personal practice of grounding and mindfulness became a way to share meaning, beauty, and connection with others.

Every candle poured… Every crystal placed… Every botanical chosen… became part of a larger story: a reminder that the simple things we touch, smell, and hold each day can bring comfort and clarity.

Every creation is designed with purpose. Every detail has meaning. And every offering is crafted to support grounding, renewal, and inspiration.

Where Intention Meets Creation

IBC grew from a belief that art is healing, ritual is grounding, and creativity is a form of connection.

As the shop evolved, so did the vision:
to offer pieces that aren’t just beautiful — but intentional, soulful, and energetically supportive.

What we create is meant to be:

  • a quiet moment of grounding

  • a spark of renewal

  • a reminder of your own inner wisdom

  • a gift that carries meaning beyond the object itself

A Story Rooted in Purpose

As our family transitions to the Cape, IBC is shifting with us — expanding into online offerings, pop-ups, and the next chapter of Interiors.

The physical location may change, but the heart of IBC remains the same:
a space for soulful creations, meaningful gifts, and intentional living.

Growing, Shifting, Evolving

This is more than a shop.

It’s a story still being written — and you’re a part of it.

The Heart Behind IBC

Hi, I’m Jessica — the creator of Intention Based Creations, a social worker, and someone who deeply believes in living with intention, clarity, and emotional grounding.

IBC started during a time when I needed to reconnect with myself. Creativity became a way to slow down, breathe, and move through life with more purpose. What began as small rituals — pouring candles, choosing crystals, blending scents — grew into a meaningful practice that supported my own wellness and sense of balance.

I realized that the things we bring into our homes matter. They influence how we feel, how we move through our day, and how we return to ourselves when life gets overwhelming. IBC grew from that understanding: that intentional objects can make a difference. That a candle can ground us. That a gift can speak to someone’s heart. That a thoughtfully created space can shift how we feel inside of it.

As a social worker, my work centers on compassion, emotional safety, and helping people navigate life’s complexities.
As an artist, my work centers on intuition, meaning, and creating things that support wellness — not just visually, but emotionally and energetically.

IBC is where those two parts of me meet.
Every candle, every gift, every interior styling project is created to bring comfort, clarity, and intention into someone’s life. Whether it’s a piece you choose for yourself or for someone you care about, my hope is always the same: that it brings a moment of grounding, a sense of being held, or a spark of inspiration.

Thank you for being here, for supporting handmade work, and for allowing these creations to become part of your own rituals and your own spaces.
